Brendan Murray had been a licensed plumber for over a decade when he decided to start B-N-K Plumbing in 2005. His time in the industry taught him what customers want and don’t want when they call a plumber.

They don’t want workers who treat them like numbers by neglecting to listen to them and failing to address their complaints. Nor do they want plumbers who are stuck in their ways and turn a blind eye to new, better technology. They especially don’t want workers who show up late for appointments in dirty uniforms and poorly stocked trucks.

So, what do people want when they call a plumber? Brendan put himself in his customers’ shoes and answered that question. Then he shaped his new business into one that would always fulfill people’s most pressing plumbing desires.

Brendan founded B-N-K Plumbing on these principles of exceptional customer service, and it wasn’t long before they started paying off. Many top plumbing technicians joined his team because they noticed he was treating his customers right and doing the same for his employees.

After less than two years, the small company that began in Brendan’s garage had moved into a large warehouse space and was serving customers throughout McHenry County and Lake County.

As we mentioned above, we didn’t rest on this success. Rather, we kept working hard to provide the quality service we’d become known for.
